Today Murielle and I visited the Catholic cemetery in Ball Club. She knew a lot of people there, too.

Murielle and I took a ride to the Wildwood Cemetery in Cohasset. Of course, Mr C came along. He has developed a taste for walking cemeteries. Murielle found several relatives here, too.
I found a Dunn stone, too. No relation, of course.
There were many angels sleeping around on the stones and beside stones. This is one that had a solar powered light that was dark during the day.

Yesterday Murielle and I walked the Pine Ridge cemetery and I took stone pictures. We were walking along in quiet meditation when she said, "You got something on your shoe." I looked down and found my feet caked in gray clay. She looked down and found her shoes were a mess, too. We stepped into a puddle of water and scrapped off as much as we could in the grass. Then we walked on in quiet meditation.
Let me introduce you to Sarge who is Jojo's best canine buddy. How excited they become when they find each other's fragrance on the air. Jojo stops and raises his nose. Then he whines and pulls me toward the place where we find Sarge doing the same thing. They bow to each other in a playful manner and as Sarge begins his love song, Jojo gets up on back legs to dance.
One day I visited KAXE studios with Annie and we discovered a portrait of my grandson, Royal.
Yesterday Cedar took a picture of me with buck eyes stuck behind my glasses. She thinks it is quite a nice picture of me. I said, "Well, it's not my favorite." After all, I didn't want to hurt her feelings.
I got a few books at the thrift store. One of them is this wonderful collection of poems by Miss Emily. I am going to illustrate it with small ink images this winter. I will move from page to page as time turns to winter and slowly returns to spring. This winter project will save me from icy falls and keep me off the street.
Last night I belled the hand made autographed broom. I believe it will make sweeping more pleasant a task.

Today I wore my blackest clothes to mourn all the indigenous people who have died as a result of the European invasion. Also I gathered a few family members and we howled for Wolf. We wanted to demonstrate our outrage at the state making it legal to hunt and assassinate Wolf in his homeland. This is the same kind of conduct this government has exercised toward indigenous people.

We also checked out the pumpkins that Walter the pig planted on the manure pile. They probably weigh as much as Cedar.

Made hand prints in snow on car.
Went to Cass Lake for Todd R's memorial feast. The family asked me to bring the blessing. I was quite honored. Nearly everyone in attendance received a memorial mug. I will keep mine on the shelf as it has such a nice picture of Todd.
Todd was Lamaya's maternal grandfather. He drowned last Oct. 1, while pulling up his fish nets.
The drummers sang four healing songs for us and I know we all felt better for it.
