Today Pearl planned a dinner and invited guests. It was especially for Jim and Wendy. Pearl brought a cake, a casserole and the steaks. Jim grilled the steaks outside. I brought potato salad. Evelyn brought sliced tomatoes. I had prepared a really beautiful steamed asparagus with mushrooms and red peppers... but it burned while I was working on the 49th roundup!
Did I tell you that the new kitchen light is so bright it is like opening the door into a sunny world? I think it makes vitamin D!

I'm going to watch The Outsiders tonight.
