Today I walked around the block! First time since before surgery. I went slow... but I went. Mr C dragged me along behind him. I will do it again tomorrow. In a week I will try to add a little more distance to my walking time. I feel pretty foolish bragging about such a small accomplishment but I can't help it... I'm terrific today!

Fb friend Mike had some good advice which I took to heart. He suggested that one take a camera out and take photos of local interest. The results are above.
I also made a fine apple pie with just three large green apples from Chili. Cedar got the first slice and the remaining five were shared at a pie party in the henhouse. Murriell brought some chocolate cake. Gloria brought cookies. We made coffee in the new pot.
Today the manager came and inspected our units. I was directed to remove art from my door. The explanation was that in case of an emergency the pictures would distract emergency personnel and delay assistance. I smiled but did not laugh.

I removed most of the stuff on the door. I was told I could have only one thing on the door so I chose to leave the lace scarf to which I pinned a pink butterfly and a photo of Elvis.
