Duluth flood getting a lot of attention. It looks terrible... like an earthquake struck.
I had Cedar today and she had a 3 hour nap. Tired little kid. I took advantage of her down time and had a brief rest. We had grilled cheese for lunch then we found some corn dogs in the freezer for desert.
She practiced on her shoe horn for awhile. Then she took the recorder apart and put it back together. Her shoehorn is the one in the middle.
Today was an extremely wonderful day for me. A dear friend that I haven't seen for 20+ years called. In celebration of their 35th wedding anniversary Robert and Chris Larson are coming to visit me! We have stayed in touch over the long years but no visual sightings. Once a year she sends family photos but I don't think she has seen me in photos. She will be shocked to find I am white-haired and rather lame. I met her in Vienna, Austria where we were delegates for The Mother's of the World Peace Summit. I have photos but the are pre-digital.

How absolutely wonderful! Nothing like a visit from a far away friend to cheer the cockles of one's heart!
